About Us

Practicing accounting for more than 30 Years

With over 30 years of accounting and business advisory experience, both internationally and here in Mount Maunganui, Valerie and her team bring practical, tailored solutions to every business they work with.

We’re genuinely passionate about helping businesses grow. From small local trades to mid-sized construction companies, there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing our clients succeed. We give you the tools, insight, and support to build stronger financial foundations and turn your goals into real results.

As a business owner, you need more than an accountant who just ticks boxes.

You need someone who looks out for your business. Someone with the experience to spot the gaps you can’t see, and the insight to work on the business while you focus on running it.

Valerie and the team at Emerald Business Advisers are outstanding! Becoming a sole trader for the first time, Valerie took the time to sit down with me explaining the processes involved and has continued to provide sound advice moving forward. Whether you are looking for a first time accountant or otherwise I cannot recommend Valerie and the team highly enough.
